Kwalukonge
Since 1989 Una Barry has been supporting projects in East Africa, raising money, teaching and visiting. This year, she is working with the Rosminian Fathers at Kwalukonge in Tanzania, who are building a Health Centre and Secondary School for the people of the area.

The Kwalukonge Health Centre was formally opened on 16 July 2007. Thank you to everyone who helped achieve this.
Other projects
Una combines this work with a busy career as a singer and teacher. She has organised many Concerts for Africa at home and abroad since her first visit to Africa, following which she organised a performance of Handel's Messiah in Manchester in 1990.Previous projects have been in Kenya and Burundi.
